When daughter Rosina was confirmed in 1861 her last name was spelled Brunn.

Odd was the fact that the census taker had misspelled their last name as Snyder and Paul's name as Powell. All names checked with dates and show good.

In the 1900 census Paul - 56, Rosa - 52, John - 27, Paul Jr. - 19, Frank - 17, and Charles - 14. Name was Schneider by this time and lived at 943 East Madison Ave.

Note Rosa Schneider paid the bill for Frederick's funeral.

Note Fred was living with Paul & Rosa Schneider in 1900, he was age 43 at that time.

Immigrated to the United States in 1859 same year as Rosa or Rosina.

In June 1880 Louisville, Kentucky census 23 years old, lived at 431 Main Street, Paper Hanger, ED 104 Page 31. He was living with Margaret -61, and Gabriel -26. Odd was the fact that the census taker had misspelled their last name as Westman. his job as a paper hanger coincides with Charles Welty's job as a paper hanger also. Note that Louisa was in the same house as Charles during 1880.

Note: Fred was living with his Brother in Law Paul & Rosa M Schneider 943 East Madison Ave in 1900, he was 43 years old. He worked in a Wagon Factory by profession according to the 1900 census.

Eastern Cem, Lou Ky., on Baxter next to Cave Hill. This is the cemetery that they had to close because of double stacking. Rosa M. Schneider paid the bill for his funeral.

Also on lot 472 were Elizabeth E. Westerman listed as Eliz. Westerman, Francisca Mann 1818-1891, Joseph Welty (owner of plot 472) 1820-1878, Theresa Welty 1835-1865, Andrew Welty 1857-1903, Charles E. Schmid 1856-1944, Mary T. Schmid 1855-1937. Plot 472 was in G section of St. Michaels (1600 Newburg Rd. AKA Calvary cemetery) next to plots containing Herp, Dillmann/Dilman, and Schmidt.

In June 1880, living with brother Charles and Sister Mary T. Smith (Schmid), she was 21 years old, 422 Washington Street, ED 104 page 27.

Upon her death the remains were taken to her sisters house (Mary T. Welty-Schmid) on 10th Street.

Cardinal Catani, the papal nuncio of Brussels, ordained him in his private chapel, March 27, 1875, for the diocese of Louisville. He arrived in Kentucky in November, 1875.

In November, 1891, he was appointed pastor of the church of the Immaculate Conception (St. Mary's, 8th St.). He held this office until he died in June 19, 1932. Funeral was in Immaculate Conception and burial was at the Sisters of Loretto, in Marion County. St. Mary's Church no longer exists it was closed in the fall of 1935 and destroyed in 1938.
